Parent involvement is encouraged and welcome! I hold a BAS with a minor in Elementary Education and have over 15 years of teaching experience in elementary school libraries.
I tailor lessons to the individual student in an innovative and non-traditional life experience approach that can build self esteem and student confidence.
All lessons are based on the State Educational Standards. Fee: $20.00 per hour session Summer sessions are also available to help keep your child on track for the next school year.

Stephanie Pate - Spanish Tutoring Services
Professional Spanish interpreter and translator offering tutoring lessons to adults and children in the Hood River area. I have worked in Spanish linguistics for 17+ years. I have lived in Mexico and worked in several Spanish speaking countries as an interpreter. I currently perform translation work for clients all across the world. I am very knowledgeable about Latin culture and customs.

Julie Belmore
Julie Belmore is a reading tutor using a program called Phono-Graphix. In most cases she is able to get a child to their grade level in reading in 12 hours of tutoring or less.
Julie has four years of experience with this program and has tutored over 70 students. Julie usually tutors in her home, but other arrangements are possible. She has worked with children as young as four all the way up to adults. Julie usually only needs to see students once a week for 45 to 60 minutes.

John Ritter has been working with students in Hood River for the past seven years. He offers specific subject assistance, after school enrichment, homework help, and aids parents who are home schooling.

Becka has been working with children and teens for over 10 years.
She is certified in both General and Special Education, holds a Masters in Special Education, and has teaching experience at all levels of education, preschool through high school.
Currently a stay-at-home mom, she is offering private lessons in beginning flute, 1st and 2nd year Spanish, and all other general subjects for elementary through 8th grade.
