Children's Museum
Come with your
little ones to check out the new exhibits at the Wonderworks Children’s
Museum Playstation. The Playstation offers a new Play and Pretend
Deli & Kitchen
and the Wonderworks Bernouli Blower, an exhibit that suspends
balls in mid air.
Want to expose your 0-5 year old to some great local music?? Everyone enjoys learning new songs, shaking our shakers, beating our drums, and lots of wiggling. Wonderworks Children's Museum begins its popular fall music class series with local musician Victor Johnson and drummer Steve McLennon on Mondays, September 15th trough October 13th.
Music and Me for 0-3-year-olds is Monday's from 11:00 am - 11:30 am.
Rhythm and Jive for 3-5 year olds is Monday's from 11:45 am - 12:15 pm.
Siblings can be enrolled in the same class.
The music classes will meet in the basement of the UCC Congregational Church at 111 W 5th St in The Dalles.
Cost for the series is $30 per child for members and $15 each additional child, or $35 non members and $20 each additional child. Plus one free guest pass to Wonderworks Playstation.
Parents, grandparents and childcare providers alike are welcome to bring children in their care.Pre-register class by calling Mandy at 541-980-4071.
Scholarships are available for all programs. Inquire during registration.

Wondergym! - Indoor Play for Pre-schoolers
Looking for a place to take your kids to burn off some energy during the bad weather? Come join us Mondays from 11-11:45 at Elan Dance and Movement Center in The Dalles starting Feb. 2, 2009 for some running, jumping, and crazy games guaranteed to get the sillies out. Sponsored by Wonderworks Museum in The Dalles.
Elan Dance & Movement Center is located at 1101 W. 6th St., The Dalles. Open to: children ages 1-5 with parent or care giver. Cost is $20 for WW members and $25 for nonmembers for first child, each additional child is $5 up to $30 family max.
